Elizabeth Jean Craig, 78, of High Ridge died Nov. 27, 2015, at St. Clare Health Center in Fenton. Mrs. Craig was a retired kindergarten teacher from St. Anthony’s Catholic School in High Ridge. She was a longtime member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church of High Ridge. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, the outdoors and making floral arrangements. Born April 14, 1937, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Delores (Hermann) Ploudre. She was preceded in death by her husband: Ronald E. Craig.

She is survived by five children: Mark Anthony Craig of St. Charles, Stephen Ronald Craig of High Ridge, Patrick Eugene (Lisa Wolff) Craig of Cedar Hill, Ronald Eugene (Laura) Craig Jr. of High Ridge and Mary Elizabeth Muller of Las Vegas; six grandchildren: Melissa, Margaret, Mark Jr., Katherine, Stephen Jr. and Danielle Craig; two siblings: Ladonna Ware of High Ridge and Michael Ploudre of Sullivan; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 30, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 3009 High Ridge Blvd. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill. Memorials may be made to the America Diabetes Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
