Elizabeth “Betty” Richardson, 82, of Dittmer died July 12, 2021, in St. Louis. Ms. Richardson was an active member at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in House Springs and enjoyed playing bingo at the Knights of Columbus. She loved shopping, going to the movies and going out to eat. Born Aug. 7, 1938, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Helen Bishop.
She is survived by three children: David Richardson of North Carolina, Kathleen Setzer of Dittmer and Kevin Richardson of Arnold; eight grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; a brother: Keith (Diane) Bishop; a sister-in-law: Juanita Bishop; and numerous extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: James Bishop and Tom Bishop; a son-in-law: Michael Setzer; and a daughter-in-law: Teresa Richardson.
Visitation is from 9 a.m. until a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Monday, July 19, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in House Springs. Burial will follow in the St. Philomena Cemetery in House Springs. Memorials may be made to Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 4696 Notre Dame Lane, House Springs, 63051. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
