Elizabeth Anne Janovich, 64, of Festus died Jan. 2, 2016, at her home. Ms. Janovich was a receptionist for the Quad City Senior Center and a member of First United Methodist Church in Festus. She was a computer artist and an avid walker. Born Aug. 6, 1951, in Palo Alto, Calif., she was the daughter of Anthony Janovich of Mountain View, Calif., and the late Mozelle (Whitehead) Janovich.
In addition to her father, she is survived by two daughters: Marcella Tentschert of San Jose, Calif., and Yvette Richardson of Festus; a brother: Anthony Janovich of San Jose, Calif.; a grandson: William Dempster II of San Jose; a great-granddaughter: Elizabeth Dempster of San Jose; a niece: Sherri Reece of Paradise, Calif.; and friends Wally Biehle of Festus and Melvin and Donna Henson of French Village. She was preceded in death by a sister: Harriette Macias.
Visitation is at 9:30 a.m. and a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, at First United Methodist Church, 113 Grand, in Festus, officiated by Pastor Andy Blacksher. Memorials may be made to the food pantry at First United Methodist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.
