Edwin Frank Kohler, 76, of House Springs died May 20, 2016, in House Springs. Mr. Kohler was a welder and fitter. He was born Jan. 23, 1940, in Kimmswick, the son of the later Herbert and Frances (Zigelmeyer) Kohler.

He is survived by his wife: Karen (Reinschmidt) Kohler; a son: Melvin (Anna) Kohler of House Springs; two daughters: Patti Richardson and Peggy (David) Wilson, both of House Springs; four sisters: Agnes Santhuff of Arnold, Frances (Robert) Guth of St. Louis, Clara (Win Santhuff) Kohler of House Springs; and Jo Ann Kohler of St. Louis; a brother: Marvin (Melissa) Kohler of Arnold; five grandchildren: Ashley Richardson, Heather (Nick) Frein, Courtney (Jason) Miller, Christine Kohler and Brendan Kohler; and eight great-grandchildren: Faith, Destini, Dawsyn, Leih, Tia-Lyn, Nicholas, Tristan and Marley.

He was preceded in death by five brothers: Jerome, Emil, Marion, Herbert and Melvin Kohler; and a grandson: Joshua Schumaker.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Monday, May 23, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 24, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel.
