Edward L. Jesick, 97, of Imperial died March 20, 2019. Mr. Jesick was a welder and was a member of the Operating Engineers Union Local 513, American Legion Post No. 238, and the Forty and Eight Voiture 1321. Born Oct. 24, 1921, in Fayette City, Pa., he was the son of the late Sarah E. and Edward A. Jesick.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Virginia Mae Jesick.
He is survived by two children: Michael (Sherry) Jesick and Linda K. (Robert) Cannito; four grandchildren: Brian (Brenda) Cook, Wade (Carrie) Jesick, Sarah (Matt) Rathmann and Brad Jesick; and 13 great-grandchildren: Bryan Olsen, Brendan and Blake Cook, Chance, Gavin, Carter, Emily and Jayden Jesick, Bailey, Jordan and Lucas Malone and Sophia Rathmann, and Draven.
He was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Dawn Michelle Cook.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 27, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Shepherd Hills Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home.
