Dr. Louis Terry Biehle, 76, of Festus died July 27, 2018, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Biehle was a licensed chiropractor and owner of Biehle Chiropractor in De Soto and St. Louis. He also was an advanced science teacher at St. Pius X High School and Festus High School and a track coach at Festus. He was very active with school sports, often refereeing at volleyball events, and he enjoyed fishing. He attended Sacred Heart Church in Crystal City and Faith Church in St. Louis. He was a member of the American Chiropractor Association and the Volleyball Officials Association. Born Aug. 30, 1941, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Theresa M. (Aubuchon) and Louis Perlie Biehle.
He is survived by his wife: Karen (Johnson) Biehle; a son: Kirk (Cerissa) Biehle of Festus; two granddaughters: Alexis and Aaliyah Biehle of Festus; a sister: Janet (Rich) Kayarian of St. Louis; and a sister-in-law: Sharon Biehle of St. Louis.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Steve Biehle and Alan “Wayne” Biehle.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, at the funeral home, officiated by Deacon Jerry Stoverink. Burial is in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
