Dorothy Marie Busby Karr, 93, of Arnold died March 31, 2019, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mrs. Karr was a clerical supervisor for Banquet Foods and a homemaker. Born April 8, 1925, in East Prairie, she was the daughter of the late Neil and Lois Busby. She was preceded in death by her husband: Oliver Russell Karr.
She is survived by a son: Denny (Pam) Karr; three daughters: Rusceilla Karr, Sharon Neal and Karen (George) Mainoff; four grandchildren: Matthew (Marnie) Greenacre, Elisa (Kerem) Korkmaz, Brian Greenacre and Douglas (Jackie) Bruns; and one great-grandchild: Oliver Korkmaz.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Paul Busby; and a sister: Ruby Busby.
A funeral service was held April 5 at Kutis Funeral Home in south St. Louis County, officiated by Steve White. Burial was in the Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Arrangements were under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
