Dorothy Mae Reynolds, 89, of De Soto died May 22, 2020, at her home. Mrs. Reynolds was a homemaker. Born Oct. 21, 1930, in De Soto, she was the daughter of the late Mary (Sansoucie) and Albert Micke.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Howard Reynolds.
She is survived by three children: Gail R. (Lloyd) Ott of De Soto, Claudia L. (Scott) Kirn of De Soto and Brian H. (Lisa) Reynolds of Farmington; two siblings: Albert “Ab” Micke and Evelyn Graham, both of De Soto; seven grandsons: Doug Ott of Kansas City, August (Sarah) Kirn of Herculaneum, Seth Kirn of Festus, Zachary (Brandy) Kirn of Arnold, Brian (Brooke) Reynolds of Oakville, Colton Reynolds of Chicago, Ill., and Keegan Reynolds of Farmington; a granddaughter: Stephanie (Jason) Howerton of Kirksville; and 12 great-grandchildren: Savanna, Tristan and Gavin Ott, Tyler and Katie Howerton, Karli, Brielle and Brinley Reynolds and Ian, Colin, Sophia and Isabelle Kirn.
She was preceded in death by a sister: Isabelle Jackson; a sister-in-law: Norma Micke; and two brothers-in-law: Tim Graham and Roland Jackson.
A private funeral Mass was officiated by Father Alexander Anderson. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4207 Lindell Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63108. Arrangements were under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
