Dorline Pennington, 77, of Festus died Dec. 17, 2018, at Evelyn’s House Hospice in St. Louis County. Mrs. Pennington was retired from Farmers Bank, where she served as manager for many years. She and her husband developed and managed Country Trail Estates in Jefferson County and built a subdivision, Karrington Estates, in Farmington.

She loved tending to her many flower gardens, playing the piano, singing and going to church. Born Oct. 15, 1941, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Pauline and Oliver Grimm.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years: Donald Pennington, who she has been with since the age of 13; four daughters: Kimberly, Karen, Tina and Tonya; five grandchildren: Karie, Justin, Robby, Anthony, and Amanda; and five great-grandchildren: Shiloh, Parker, Palmer, Adylee and Kyson.

She was preceded in death by two sisters: Delores Bulback and Deanna Creek.

A private funeral service was held Dec. 19 at Kutis Funeral Home in south St. Louis County. Burial was in the Mount Hope Cemetery in St. Louis County. Arrangements were under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
