Doris Willene Manasco, 80, of Festus died Feb. 28, 2020, at her home. Mrs. Manasco retired after working 28 years at Mac Molding in Fenton. She was a member of the quilting club at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing Bunco, trout fishing, going to the casino, road trips and especially spending time with her family. She was a member of Life Christian Church in De Soto. Born Dec. 3, 1939, in Florence, Ala., she was the daughter of the late Joseph “Larry” and Lettie Mae (Fields) Easley. She was preceded in death by her husband: Charles Manasco Jr.
She is survived by two sons: Charles (Polly) Manasco III of Pevely and Gary (Judy) Manasco of Imperial; five daughters: Bonita Clemmons of Festus, Cynthia (Rodney) Peters of Pevely, Kelly (John) Shadowens of Festus, Cheryl (Chris) Vannoy of Festus and Wendy Manasco of Festus; four sisters: Ruth Ann (John) Roberts of Wentzville, Nancy (Dana) Watkins of Fenton, Debbie (Ricky) Butler of Florence, Ala., and Tammy (the late Ricky) Hanback of South Bend, Ind.; 29 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by two sons: Joseph Manasco Sr. and Daniel Manasco Sr.; two brothers: Kenneth “Sony” Easley and Charles “Butch” Easley; a sister: Sarah Roberts; one grandchild: Kaitlynn Vannoy; and two great-grandchildren: Ruby Manasco and Analise Manasco.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Dr., in Festus. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 3, at the funeral home. Burial is in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
