Doris Ann Duff, 80, of Richwoods died Feb. 6, 2020, in Waterloo, Ill. Mrs. Duff worked at Continental Baking Co. Born Sept. 22, 1939, in Greene County, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Howard and Odean (Gregory) Varvil. She was preceded in death by her husband: William “Bill” Duff.
She is survived by five children: Pat (Vince) Novelly of St. Peters, Shari Frazier of Chesterfield, James (Karen) Milburn of Waterloo, Ill., Pam Akers of Richwoods and Jessey Massey of Richwoods; two siblings: Johnny (Lou) Varvil of Paragould, Ark., and Karen “Sue” Drummonds of St. Louis; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild;and numerous other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by a daughter: Dianna Drennen; two sons-in-law: Jeff Frazier and Craig Akers; a brother: Michael Varvil; a brother-in-law: Eracio Drummonds; and two grandchildren: Andy Drennen and Sarah Frazier.
A funeral service was held Feb. 10 at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto, officiated by Don Bahr and William “Dub” Manley. Burial was in Greene County Memorial Gardens in Paragould, Ark. Arrangements were under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
