Dorene Bailey, 81, of Cedar Hill died Nov. 7, 2017. Mrs. Bailey was a faithful Christian who worked for many years as a beautician. Born June 16, 1936, in Barnett, she was the daughter of the late Orville and Bernace (Walls) Hibdon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert “Al” Bailey.
She is survived by four children: Lorraine Lapp of Cedar Hill, Sharon (Bruce) Livingston of Kansas, Leonard Mickelson of Cedar Hill and Anita Scott of Arnold; five grandchildren: Vanessa (Scott), Melissa (Bryan), Nathanial (Angie), Nicole and Ashley; eight great-grandchildren: Alexis, Samantha, Tyler, Alyssa, Aubrey, Kenedi-Rose, Wyatt and Levi; two siblings: Donald (Barbara) Hibdon and Leroy Hibdon; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.
A funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Memorials may be made to Shepherd’s Chapel, 102 Eighth Ave., Gravette, AR 72736; or to the Open Door Animal Sanctuary, 6065 Duda Road, House Springs, 63051. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
