Donald W. Stahl, 78, of Festus died Sept. 16, 2021, in Festus. Mr. Stahl was a retired serving representative for the United Auto Workers. Born Aug. 17, 1943, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Dorothy M. (Gray) and Earl R. Stahl.
He is survived by his wife: Donna S. (Presson) Stahl; a son: Rick (Laura) Stahl of Pevely; six daughters: Tammy (Tim) Sadler of Pevely, Debby (Kevin) Renwick of Imperial, Angie Herrel of Festus, Shari Welker of Pevely, Peggy (Scott) Steinkoenig of Granite City, Ill., and Kelly (Matt) Shaver of Arnold; a sister: Beverly (Wayne) Boyer of Valles Mines; a brother: Robert (Donna) Stahl of Crystal City; 19 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Gary Stahl; a son-in-law: Steve Welker; and a grandson: Travis Welker.
Visitation will be from 3:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. No funeral service will be held. Memorials may be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Homes.
