Donald R. Pennington, 84, of Harviell died Feb. 18,2022, in Willis, Texas. Mr. Pennington raised his family and lived in Jefferson County most of his adult life. He worked as a tool and die maker at Progressive Service in St Louis for 41 years. He enjoyed building new houses, and built and managed Country Trail Estates Mobile Home Park in Barnhart and the Karrington subdivision in Farmington. He loved spending time with family. He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years: Dorline (Grim) Pennington, who died Dec. 17, 2018.
He is survived by four daughters: Kimberly, Karen, Tina and Tonya; five grandchildren: Karie, Robby, Andy, Justin and Amanda; five great-grandchildren: Shiloh Pennington, Adylee and Kyson Davis and Parker and Palmer Meadors; a brother: Wayne (Lavon) Pennington; and many other relatives and friends.
A private funeral and celebration of life will be held at a later date.
