Donald R. Dresner, 60, of Ste. Genevieve died May 7, 2021, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Dresner was a member of the Saint Francis de Sales Benevolent Society. He loved animals, particularly his dogs. He enjoyed feeding birds and watching St. Louis Blues hockey. Born Sept 2, 1960, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Roy J. and Marcella E. (Feld) Dresner.
He is survived by a sister: Donna M. Plumley of St. Louis; a sister-in-law: Joan Dresner of Crestwood; six nieces and nephews: David (Kim) Dresner, Michael Dresner, Katie (Jared) Prichard, Teresa (Ben) Sansoucie, Joe (Robin) Plumley and Alicia (Matt) Cotner; and 15 great-nieces and nephews: Charlotte, Brendan, Danny, Owen, Emery, Mallory, Gus, Leo, Lydia, Keegan, Connor, Kennedy, Tyler, Hailey and Katelyn. He was preceded in death by a brother: Daniel R. Dresner.
Visitation is at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 5, at the Church of Ste. Genevieve, 49 DuBourg Place in Ste. Genevieve, officiated by the Rev. Edward Nemeth. Memorials may be made to Mid-America Transplant or to the Church of Ste. Genevieve. Arrangements are under the direction of Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.
