Donald Kenneth Imfeld, 78, of Ste. Genevieve died Feb. 27, 2020, at his home. Mr. Imfeld was a retired pipefitter with Local 562 and attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Crystal City. He enjoyed radio-controlled cars and was a member of the St. Louis Truckin’ Association. Born Aug. 18, 1941, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Bernard and Lucille (Halley) Imfeld. He was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Imfeld.
He is survived by four sons: Donald “Scott” Imfeld of Festus, Michael (Melinda) Imfeld of Bloomsdale, Eric Imfeld of Bloomsdale and Keith Imfeld of Bloomsdale; four daughters: Darlene (the late Vincent) Dow of Warsaw, Tracey Wilde of Festus, Karen Smith of Tennessee and Kathy (Johnny) Stevens of De Soto; a brother: Gary (Yvonne) Imfeld of Lonedell; a sister: Rose Leammel of De Soto; 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is at 11 a.m. and a funeral service is scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday, March 5, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Dr., in Festus. Burial is in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Crystal City. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
