Donald E. Riebold, 83, of Barnhart died May 18, 2018, at St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis County. Mr. Riebold, a veteran of the U.S. Army, was a carpenter and a 25-year member of the St. Louis Carpenter’s Council. Born Sept. 18, 1934, in Imperial, he was the son of the late Albert and Leona (Klable) Riebold.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years: Mary K. (Pflueger) Riebold; six children: Kevin (Synthia) Riebold, Lisa (Timothy) Taylor, Michele Roshell, Kathleen (Tim) Smith, David Riebold and Carrie Riebold; 16 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, with two more on the way; and a sister-in-law: Vera Riebold.
He was preceded in death by a brother: Alvin Riebold.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in St. Louis County. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, at St. John Catholic Church in Imperial. Burial is in the St. John Catholic Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the St. John Church St. Vincent de Paul Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
