Donald Clive Webb, 90, of Festus died April 24, 2021. Mr. Webb attended Chillicothe Business College from 1949-1950. He served in the U.S. Army from 1953-1955, including a tour in Korea, and remained active in the reserves. He worked for the Missouri Pacific/Union Pacific railroads from 1950-1988. He enjoyed studying the Bible and taught men’s Sunday School for several years. He was an active member in the Gideons organization, and he was a charter member and deacon of Faith Baptist Church in Festus. Born Feb. 8, 1931, in Edgehill, he was the son of the late A.B. and Virgie (Clements) Webb. He was preceded in death by his wife: Athalene (Parker) Webb, whom he married on Sept. 11, 1953.

He is survived by a daughter: LaDonna (Steve) Nausley of Festus; a son: David (Tracey) Webb of Collinsville; five grandchildren: Kristin Nausley, Michael Nausley, Cassandra (Casey) Lawson, Courtney (Brian) Birch and Caleb (Christin) Webb; five great-grandchildren: Noah Jonah and Ruth Lawson and Jackson and Alexis Birch; a sister: Alice Chester; two sisters-in-law: Julia Webb and Adalee Parker-Wadlow; and numerous other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by a sister: Aneatha Webb; two brothers: William J. Webb and Darrel Webb; two sisters-in-law: Leota Jaycox and Margaret Stafford; and four brothers-in-law: Paul Jaycox, Glenn Stafford, Preston Chester and Raymond Parker.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until a funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 1, at Faith Baptist Church in Festus, officiated by Brother Matt Culbertson. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. at the Boss Cemetery in Boss. Memorials may be made to Faith Baptist Church Building Fund or the Gideons. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
