Dixie Lee (Drury) Bobbitt, 84, of Hillsboro died April 5, 2022, at her home. She formerly lived in De Soto and High Ridge. Mrs. Bobbitt will be remembered for her devotion to her family and friends. She was the daughter of the late Maxine and Mitch Drury of De Soto.
She was preceded in death by her husband: William (Bill) Bobbitt.
She is survived by her son: Mark (Lisa) Suycott; three daughters and stepdaughters: Lynda (Dale) Burgman, Julie Bobbitt (Billy) Brakefield and Sally (Don Tinsley) Bobbitt; two sisters: Diana (David) Theodoro and Vicki (Gale) Wideman; eight grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother: Mitch (Joy) Drury; and stepdaughter: Nancy Bobbitt (Steve) Davis.
Visitation was April 9 at Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill. A celebration of life was held April 10 at Raintree County Baptist Church in Hillsboro. Memorials may be made to Kindness in A Box, Shriners Hospital for Children, Stray Rescue St. Louis or St. Louis Heart Association. Arrangements were under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
