
Derek J. AuBuchon, 41, of Hillsboro died Jan. 8, 2022, in Hillsboro. Mr. AuBuchon was a foreman at Thomas Industrial Coatings Inc. and a member of Union Painters Local 2341. He was an organ donor. He enjoyed camping, boating, fishing, being in the water, and spending time with family. Born May 14, 1980, in St. Louis, he was the son of Willis (Diane) AuBuchon and Carolyn and Dennis (Combs) Pruneau.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife: Stacy (Flaningam) AuBuchon of Hillsboro; five children: Colin, Alyssa, Tanner, Jacob and Riley; and five siblings: Charissa (Phelissa) AuBuchon-Kirkland of Huntington, Tenn., Allison (Tyler) Lambert of Festus, Laura AuBuchon of Festus, Brandon (Miranda) Pruneau of Hillsboro and Krystle (Tom) Tone of Bryan, Texas.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until a service at 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 17, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto, officiated by David Warden. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
