Dennis R. “Denny Ray” Bleckler, 59, of Hillsboro died March 13, 2014, at his home. Mr. Bleckler was retired. Born April 20, 1954, in Bonne Terre, he was the son of Betty Bleckler of Festus and the late Norman Bleckler.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 28 years, Billie Jo (Feck) Beckler; a son: Daniel Bleckler of Texas; a sister-in-law: Starr Stivers of Richwoods; seven siblings: Sharon (Steve) Filer, Norman Bleckler Jr., Michael (Tammy) Bleckler, Beth (Wyman) Fedorchak, Richard Bleckler, Mary Henneman and Rudy Henneman; and six grandchildren: Justin, Patrick, Gabriel, Dakota, Kiya and Adyson Rae.
A memorial gathering is scheduled from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, March 29, at Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus, officiated by Pastor Joe Gourley of the Book of Acts Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
