Dennis Jeffrey Mitchell, 44, of Festus died March 10, 2023, in Festus. Mr. Mitchell enjoyed hunting, canoeing, being outdoors, and spending time with his family. Born March 5, 1979, he was the son of Betty J. (Chuck) Mann Huff of Annapolis.
He is survived by his wife: Morgan E. (Montiel) Mitchell of Festus; four children: Avery, Ashton, Aubrie and Addison Mitchell of Festus; his stepfather: Steve (Vicki) Robinson; two brothers: Billy (Brandy) Mitchell of Elk River, Minn., and Clint Huff of Annapolis; a sister: Amia (Jeremy) Keller of Oklahoma City, Okla.; his grandparents: Jack and Pearl Story of Redford; his parents-in-law: Kim and Joe Barr of House Springs; and many other family members and friends.
A funeral service was held March 17 at Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus. Burial was in the Gamel Cemetery in Festus. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
