Dennis Greenlee Sr., 73, of De Soto died April 21, 2017, at his home. Mr. Greenlee was a manager at National Coating and Supply. Born Jan. 17, 1944, in Potosi, he was the son of the late John Theodore “Jack” and Loretta Maxine (Wilson) Greenlee.
He is survived by his wife: Julia “Julie” (Politte) Greenlee; three children: Denise “Dee Dee” Kirkpatrick of De Soto, Belinda “Binky” Summers of De Soto and Dennis Greenlee II of St. Louis; three siblings: Ray (Betty) Greenlee, Brenda (Ken) Kleinstuber and Jack (Cathy) Greenlee; four grandchildren: Ryan Greenlee, Samantha DeLarber, Natasha Jackson and Lesley (Jon) Slade; five great-grandchildren: Sierra Greenlee, Rilynne DeLarber, LeAnna DeLarber, Olivia Slade and Ian Slade; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter: Rachel Greenlee; and two nephews: John Kleinstuber and Kevin Kleinstuber.
Visitation is at 1 p.m. and a funeral service is scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday, June 4, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto, officiated by Lennie Fincher. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, St. Louis Chapter, 9370 Olive Blvd., St. Louis, 63132; or to the American Heart Association, 460 N. Lindbergh Blvd., St. Louis, 63141.
