Dennis Elbert Cain, 69, of Hillsboro, died Jan. 24, 2023, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Cain was a tool and die maker at Glaxo-Smith-Kline. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Born Aug. 23, 1953, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Madeline (Ritter) and Elbert Cain.
He is survived by his wife: Brenda (Tallent) Cain of Hillsboro three daughters: Tara Cain of Hillsboro, Trisha Pratt of Crystal City and Simba; a brother: Mark Cain of Hillsboro; a sister: Yvonne (Larry) Heffel of Hannibal; a brother-in-law: Rob Reinhart of Hillsboro; and family pets Mia and Banana.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Kim Reinhart.
Private services will be held. Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home in De Soto.
