Dennis Edward “Eddie” Bowen, 59, of House Springs died Dec. 26, 2019. Mr. Bowen was a server/altar boy at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, where he attended grade school. He was a 1978 graduate of Northwest High School. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. He also enjoyed hunting for animals, arrowheads and mushrooms, as well as spending time with his family and friends.
Born Sept. 10, 1960, in St. Louis, he was the son of Joan Leona (Pancer) Bowen of High Ridge and the late Oscar Luther Bowen.
He is survived by his wife: Paula Renee (Martin) Bowen of House Springs; a brother: Oscar Leo Bowen of High Ridge; two brothers-in-law: Billy Martin of House Springs and Kevin Martin of Dittmer; and four nieces and nephews: Caleb, Kyrsten, Ashton and Jayden; and other family members and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held from 11 a.m. until the funeral services at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, at the First Baptist Church of Cedar Hill, 8265 Local Hillsboro Road. Arrangements are under the direction of Fieser Funeral Home in Fenton.
