Delores M. Miller, 86, of De Soto died June 25, 2018, at Crystal Oaks Long Term Care Facility in Crystal City. Mrs. Miller was a retired assembly worker for White Rogers and a member of Landmark Baptist Church in De Soto. Born July 28, 193, in De Soto, she was the daughter of the late Clarence O. and Avis (Morton) Thornhill. She was preceded in death by her husband: Clyde Edgar “Sonny” Miller.
She is survived by three children: Cathy (Mark) Rudloff of Crystal City, Gary (Jennie) Miller of Farmington and Ron (Carla) Miller of De Soto; three siblings: Glenda R. Perry of De Soto, Howard E. Thornhill of Arnold and Ralph Thornhill of Fall River, Miss.; nine grandchildren: Robyn (Jon) Schwarz of Springhill, Tenn., Dennis Griggs (friend Tracy Wild) of Festus, Pam (Nick) Elliott of Farmington, David (Amy) Miller of Farmington, Amanda (Brian) Magee of Soso, Miss., Braxton (friend Autumn ) Miller of Philadelphia, Pa., Wade (Chris Rawls) Miller of Abilene, Texas, Travis (Kathy) Missey of De Soto and Toby Missey of Valles Mines; and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four siblings: Lillian Hopple, Clarence “Junior” Thornhill, Helen L. Thornhill and Carl E. Thornhill.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 28, at Landmark Baptist Church in De Soto, officiated by Pastor T. Aaron Maxwell. Burial is in the De Soto City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Landmark Baptist Church, 1215 Boyd St., De Soto, 63020. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
