Delores A. Pollock, 95, High Ridge

Delores A. Pollock, 95, of High Ridge died Oct. 30, 2021, at her home. Mrs. Pollock worked as a bookkeeper and manager for Canteen Corp., and she was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in High Ridge. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Born May 8, 1926, in Ste. Genevieve, she was the daughter of the late Esther R. (Linderer) and Eugene V. Steiger.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul D. Pollock, whom she married in March 1946.

She is survived by five children: Terry (Alice) Pollock of Philpot, Ky., Nancy (Louis) Voss of High Ridge, Deborah (Bob) Bove of Charlotte, N.C., Patrick (Renetta) Pollock of Blaine, Wash., and Jennifer Akers of Festus; 14 grandchildren: Tony, Chris (Angie), Abbey (Brad), Stephen (Jennifer), Rebecca, Thomas, Andrew (April), Julia (Elliot), Sarah, Victoria, Cabel, Scott (Kim), Angela (John) and Christopher; 24 great-grandchildren: Tristen, Michael Lee, Bailey, Chandler, Brianna, Destiny, Dylan, Logan, Kaylin, Dane, Alexis, Lathen, Nicholas, Katherine, Victoria, Thomas, Kai, Alexander, Ally, Hunter, Addy, Dustin, Hailey and Riley; two great great-grandchildren: Oliver and Za’Niyah; a granddaughter-in-law: Jamie; and many other family members and friends.

She also was preceded in death by six siblings: Helen Stackle, Catherine Short Spurgeon, Joseph Steiger, Anna Mae “Patsy” Geminger, Margaret “Sissy” Drury and Tom Steiger; a son-in-law: Michael Akers; and a grandson: Michael.

A memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday (Nov. 4) at St. Paul Catholic Church, 15 Forest Knoll Drive, in Fenton. Burial will be private at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society at donate3.cancer.org. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
