Delbert Ray Smith, 52, of De Soto died May 10, 2014, at his home.
Mr. Smith worked in newspaper graphics at Gannett Corp. in St. Louis and was a member of Rose of Sharon Full Gospel Temple in De Soto. He enjoyed creating music with members of his family.
Born Aug. 21, 1961, in St. Louis, he was the son of Dale and Lorna Fay (Raines) Smith of De Soto.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife: Kim (Ogelvie) Smith of De Soto; three children: Hannah (Thomas “T.J.”) Robison of De Soto, Aimee Smith of Springfield and Nathan Smith of De Soto; one sister: Deborah (Larry) Young of De Soto; two brothers: Alan Smith of De Soto and Tim (Amanda) Smith of De Soto; and two grandchildren: Aaron and Bradley Robison.
Visitation will be at 11 a.m. and funeral services at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., De Soto, officiated by Carl McKalip. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto.
Memorials may be made to Rose of Sharon Full Gospel Temple, 3454 Fountain City Road, De Soto, 63020. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
