Debra D. “Debbie” Pruneau, 60, of Crystal City died April 30, 2018, at St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis County. Mrs. Pruneau worked at Ursuline Day Care in Crystal City. She was born Jan. 13, 1958, in Crystal City, the daughter of the late Nonie George and Joyce D. (Warncke) Reeves.
She is survived by her husband: William “Billy” Pruneau of Crystal City; three children: Bill (Allison) Hancock III of Imperial, Josh (Brooke) Pruneau of Nashville, Tenn., and Chad (Tara) Pruneau of Festus; a sister: Cheryl (Paul) Welch of Hillsboro; a nephew: Paulie Welch; and 12 grandchildren: Bayley, Grace, William IV, Matthew, Ava, Josh “J.J.” Jr., Sammy, Levi, Dylan, Jayde, Elyse and Adleigh.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Bobby Don Reeves; and a sister: Beverly Reeves.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 3, at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Bruce Valle. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
