Deborah Ann Frazier Kutscher, 68, of Festus died June 15, 2021, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mrs. Kutscher graduated in 1967 from the Jefferson R-7 School District, where she was active in volleyball, cheerleading and track and played clarinet in the band. She graduated from Crystal City High School in 1971, then went to work for Missouri Natural Gas (now Spire) where she was a cashier for 17 years, retiring in 1988. Born April 6, 1953, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Marcella (Allen) and Vincent Frazier.
She is survived by her husband: David Kutscher, whom she married on May 23, 1986; her mother-in-law: June (the late Velmer) Kutscher; two nieces: Calie Frazier, and Kathy (David) Myer; a nephew: Tommy Becker; two brothers-in-law: Dale (Mary) Kutscher and Ken (Tammy) Kutscher; several aunts, cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews and extended family members and friends; and her cat, Missy.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Richard Allen Frazier; a nephew: Cole Allen Frazier; her grandparents: Elva (Allen) and Joe Johnson and Julia (Kennedy) and Frank Frazier; and her pets: dog Foxy and cat Socks..
A private family service was held, with burial in the Presbyterian/Methodist Cemetery in Festus, officiated by Pastor Terry Crank. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements were under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
