David Neal Boyer, 85, of Herculaneum died Nov. 13, 2020, in Chisago City, Minn. Mr. Boyer was an aerospace engineer and a member of the Missouri National Guard. He was of the Southern Baptist faith. Born Feb. 20, 1935, in Kimmswick, he was the son of the late Lucille (Partney) and John Neal Boyer.

He was preceded in death by two wives: Bonnie (Glaze) Boyer, whom he was married to for 23 years; and Mary Patricia (Aten) Boyer.

He is survived by four children: The Rev. Mark Christopher (Constance) Boyer of Lynnwood, Wash., Bonnie Suzanne Boyer of Gillingham, Kent, United Kingdom, Therese (Todd) Asmus of Osceola, Wis. and John Neal Boyer of Chisago City; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two children: Desiree Michelle Boyer and David Neal Boyer II; three siblings: Nyla J. Reece, Shirley Nadine Bullis and Robert Barry Boyer; a great-grandson: Isaac Lee Gonzalez; and a great-granddaughter: Amelia Rose Bryant.

Burial was in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City. Arrangements were under the direction of Mattson Funeral Home in Forest Lake, Minn.
