David Leo Twomey, 52, of Festus died March 14, 2016 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St Louis. Mr. Twomey was a senior business analyst for Express Scripts in St Louis and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He served on the board of directors for Public Water District 5 and enjoyed buying toys for his grandchildren, family functions, boating and camping. Born Sept. 7, 1963, in Pomona, Calif., he was the son of Leo B. Twomey of Van Buren and Brenda (Campbell) Fisher of Bradford, Tenn.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 29 years: Linda (Hensley) Twomey; two sons: James "Ken" Nichols of Valles Mines and Daniel David (Victoria) Twomey of Villa Ridge; a daughter: Janice (Anthony) Merseal of De Soto; a sister: Deniece (John) Pride of Indianapolis, Ind.; a half sister: Thena (Daniel) Marlow of Trenton, Tenn.; a half brother: Larry (Karen) Setzer of Union City, Tenn.; and nine grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled for 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins, in Festus, officiated by Pastor Mike Hoggard. Burial is in the Sandy Baptist Cemetery in Hillsboro. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
