David Edward Sinclair, 56, of Barnhart died Feb. 10, 2019, at Scenic View Nursing Center in Herculaneum. Mr. Sinclair had been a building plan estimator for the Jefferson County Lumber Co. and was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Festus. He was a graduate of Windsor High School, Jefferson College and the University of St. Louis, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He enjoyed sports, particularly football and basketball, and he liked playing golf. He was born April 20, 1962, in Festus, the son of Lonnie and Darlene Sinclair of Barnhart.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son: Jordan Sinclair of St Louis; a daughter: Brittany (John) Kitners of Festus; two sisters: Debra (Larry) Kohler of Barnhart and Sue (Traci Reach) Sinclair of Metamora, Ill.; and a granddaughter: Bailey Kitners.
A memorial gathering is scheduled from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at Faith Baptist Church, 11835 County Road CC, in Festus, followed by a memorial service at 11 am. Burial will be at a later date in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Bismarck. Memorials may be made to the Building Fund at Faith Baptist Church of Festus. Arrangements are under the direction of the Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.
