Darryl James Anderson, 60, of House Springs died Jan. 18, 2022, in House Springs. Mr. Anderson was humble, kind and rarely ever angry, and could always see the bright side of a situation. He went out of his way to be kind to everyone, and gave back as often as he could. He was an avid pool player from the age of 17, and in high school played basketball. He was a talented cook and would always make time to play games or sports with all of his nieces and nephews. . Born Jan. 13, 1962, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late James and Dorothy Mae (Hayes) Anderson.
He is survived by his wife: Stephanie Ann (Stark) Anderson; a daughter: Denise Anderson; a brother: Daquiri (Sharica) Anderson; three sisters-in-law: Alice Anderson, Diane (Brian) Larry and Debbie Stark; three brothers-in-law: Richard (Stephanie) Stark Jr., Ryan (Ashley) Stark, Robert (Jennifer) Stark; his parents-in-law: Richard and Karen Stark; many other family members and friends; and his pets: Karma and Ziva.
He was preceded in death by two siblings: Deonzie Anderson and Dennis Anderson; and a cousin: Rodney Hayes.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, at the funeral home. Burial is in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to New Life Evangelistic Center, 2428 Woodson Road, Overland, 63114. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
