Darren Keith Wisor, 54, of House Springs died Feb. 2, 2022. Mr. Wisor loved the Lord and served as minister for the House Springs Church of Christ. He also was a substitute teacher for the Northwest R-1 School District and the Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis and a long-time coach of many baseball and soccer teams. He recently retired from coaching as the Pirates Little League coach in St. Peters. He was also an avid collector of Batman-related memorabilia. Born Sept. 19, 1967, in St. Louis, he was the son of LaVerne (Stoops) and Rodney Wisor.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 28 years: Kathy Ward Wisor; a son: Brendan; a sister: Kimberly (Brian) Hendon; several nieces and nephews; many other family members and friends; and his German shepherd: Daizee.
Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8 at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9, at Church of Christ, 2267 Scott Dr., in Arnold. Burial is in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis, 11050 N. Watson Rd., St. Louis, 63114. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
