Darrell Alan Bahr, 62, of Herculaneum died April 5, 2018, at his home. Mr. Bahr was a credit union consultant for the Missouri Credit Union System, the former owner/operator of the ACCEL Group, and a member of Elks Lodge 1721. Born Jan. 29, 1956, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Dorothy (Stumpf) Wigger and Alfred Bahr.
He is survived by two daughters: Kristin Johnson of Crystal City and Katie Dowd of Herculaneum; five grandchildren: Shannon Dowd, Karter Dowd, Aiden Dowd, Jace Dowd and Ella Johnson; a brother: Dennis (Elena) Bahr of Las Vegas, Nev.; and two sisters: Judy (David) Null of Crystal City and Cheryl Bahr of Crystal City.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather: Clarence “Chauncy” Wigger.
A memorial gathering is scheduled at 1 p.m. and a memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 14, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus, officiated by Deacon Jerry Stoverink. Memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or the Children’s Miracle Network. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
