Daniel Lohman, 65, of Fenton died Nov. 29. 2018, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Mr. Lohman was a family man with a very generous heart. He loved auto racing. Born July 11, 1953, in Pittsburg, Calif., he was the son of Patricia (Doll) Lohman and the late Eldon Lohman. He was preceded in death by his wife: Ruth Elaine Lohman.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by three children: Daniel Joseph Lohman Jr. of Fenton, Melissa Dawn (Bobbie) Duncan of High Ridge and Patricia Grace (Eric Kerperien) Lohman of Cedar Hill; five grandchildren: Chelsea, Makayla, Trysten, Isabella and Elaina; two great-grandchildren: Luka and Sawyer; his longtime girlfriend: Kris Crites; nine siblings: Alan (Marsha) Lohman, Debbie (Denny Pappas) Williams, Mark (Sandy) Lohman, Timmy (Sue) Lohman, Patty (Dave) Wegert, Kathy Vitale, Sherian (Hugh) Peterson, Kim (Erick) Mattson and Laurie Baumgarth; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by a nephew: Matthew Lohman.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 10301 Big Bend Road, in Kirkwood. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday Dec. 5, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 3009 High Ridge Blvd., in High Ridge. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
