Daniel G. Faucett, 65, St. Louis

Daniel G. Faucett, 65, of St. Louis died Dec. 15, 2021, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. He was a 1975 graduate of Fox High School, where he was active in sports and was awarded the 1975 Scholar-Athlete Award. He earned an accounting degree, as a Pershing Scholar, from Northeast Missouri State University (now Truman University), where he lettered four years on the varsity baseball team and was awarded Academic All-American in 1978. He earned his Certified Public Accountant designation and started his career at Price Waterhouse. He also earned a master’s degree in health administration from Washington University and worked for 36 years as director of finance at Spectrum Healthcare Resources, retiring in 2019. He loved spending time with his family, especially with his grandson. He also enjoyed relaxing at his “ranch,” family trips to the Florida Keys, fishing and talking sports with his friends. Born Dec. 11, 1956, he was the son of the late Robert and Patricia Faucett.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years: Gayle (Schroeder) Faucett of St. Louis; a daughter: Christina (Mike) Marty of Arnold; a son: Brian (Sarah) Faucett of St. Louis; a grandson: Max Marty of Arnold; a sister: Christina Faucett; and many other family members and friends.

He also was preceded in death by two brothers: Michael and Thomas Faucett.
