Dale Hunt, 70, of De Soto died Feb. 15, 2018, at his home. Mr. Hunt was a veteran of the U.S. Army and an inspector for Chrysler in Fenton. Born June 29, 1947, in Dexter, he was the son of the late Melissa (Cochran) and Herbert Hunt.
He is survived by his wife: Cynthia “Cindy” (Claus) Hunt; five children: Brian (Michele) Hunt of O’Fallon, Darin Hunt of Vine Grove, Ky., Ron Mills of Wilson Mills, N.C., Robert (Angela) Mills of French Village and Ryan Mills of Affton; 13 grandchildren: Brittany, Logan, Cooper, Caleb, Ava, Zayden, Jonah, Zach, Cody, Caden, Milah, Zaiden, and Zander; and one great-grandchild: Jaxon.
A funeral service was held Feb. 18 at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto, officiated by the Rev. Dr. G. Michael Rose. A graveside service is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 3, in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
