Crystal S. Lawson, 41, of Barnhart died Oct. 30, 2017, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Ms. Lawson was a V.I.P. host in Centerville, Ill. She had many hobbies, such as arts and crafts, photography and decorating, and she enjoyed working with kids. She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Crystal City and the Arnold Region Christian Home Educators. Born June 28, 1976, in Kansas City, she was the daughter of Michael (Vika) Shepherd of Topeka, Kan., and the late Janet Swope.
In addition to her father, she is survived by two sons: Garret and Tyler Lawson of Barnhart; a daughter: Emma Hicks of Barnhart; and a brother: Bobby Shepherd of Steelville, Kan.
A memorial gathering is scheduled at 10 a.m. and a memorial service at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 10, at Grace Presbyterian Church, 105 Bailey Road, in Crystal City. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.
