Corey J. Govero, 38, of Tiff died Nov. 17, 2015, at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis County. Mr. Govero was a car detailer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and music. Born Feb. 5, 1977, in Fort Huachuca, Ariz., he was the son of Marlon “Jeff” and Donna (Elsey) Govero of Tiff.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by three children: Madison Renee Govero of Tiff, Lucas Vuichard of Hillsboro and Kalep Beck of Pevely; a brother: Jesse Govero of Tiff; a nephew: Jacob Govero; his grandfather: Clayton Govero; his best friend: Kristie Gearhart; and a host of aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by three grandparents: Clarence and Audrey Elsey and Marlene Dollar.
Visitation is scheduled at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto, officiated by Steve Elsey. Burial is in the Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto.
