Cora Katherine Revelle, 92, of Pevely died July 30, 2020, at the de Greeff Hospice House at Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County. Mrs. Revelle was a cafeteria worker at the former PPG factory in Crystal City. She was a longtime member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Pevely, the VFW Post 3777 Ladies Auxiliary and the Festus-Crystal City Elks Auxiliary. Born Oct. 12, 1927, in Jefferson County, she was the daughter of the late Mamie (Pierman) and John Harmon.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Vaton Arthur “V.A.” Revelle.

She is survived by a son-in-law: Kenneth Grissom of Troy; three grandchildren: James “Doug” Grissom, Amanda (Ed) Ruppert and Dawn Spencer; three great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn Nicole, Ashlee and Andy Ruppert; special friend and caregiver Vicky Sweazea; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two daughters: Terri Grissom and Alice (the late Paul) Dyle; and 10 siblings: Rhoda (the late Charles) Oelger, Deamie (the late Ward) Vinyard, Floyd Harmon, Anthony Harmon, Goldie (the late Frank) Wolfangel, Homer (the late Ethel) Harmon, Joseph (the late Jean) Harmon, Richard (the late Eileen) Harmon, Lorene (the late Arch) Becker and Robert (the late Marcella) Harmon.

Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5, at Vinyard Hillcrest Funeral Home, 9115 Commercial Blvd., in Pevely, followed immediately by funeral services officiated by Pastor Bryan Roberts. Burial will be at the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Wounded Warrior Project. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Homes.
