Clyde A. Womack, 62, of De Soto died Sept. 26, 2021, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County. Mr. Womack was a Local 512 operator. He was very social, enjoyed being part of his community, and enjoyed road trips, hot rods and spending time with his family and friends. Born June 21, 1959, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Patricia A. (Everhart) and Clyde D. Womack.
He is survived by his fiancé: Linda Saylor of De Soto; two children: Jeana (Brandon Pendergrass) Womack and Holly Womack, both of De Soto; a stepson: Keith (Jessica) Saylor of De Soto; four siblings: Donald (Barbara) Womack, Becky (Stacy) Decker, June Womack Decker and Andy (Kelly) Womack, all of De Soto; and three granddaughters: Jaydin Gans, Evelyn Pendergrass and Evaleigh Saylor.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Cindy Womack.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until a memorial service at noon Friday, Oct. 8, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto, officiated by Brother Chris Goodwin. Burial is in the Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
