Clifford L. Dierks, 86, of De Soto died March 21, 2021, at the Woodlands in Arnold. Mr. Dierks was a retired propane specialist for Suburban Propane. Born March 21, 1935, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Frank Raymond and Sarah (Magwitz) Dierks. He was preceded in death by his wife: Doris (Christian) Dierks.
He is survived by four children: Mike (Terri) Dierks of Hillsboro, Mark Dierks of De Soto, Patricia (Ron) Dierks of Potosi and Helen (Glen) Owen of Springfield; a daughter-in-law: Shelly Dierks of St. Clair; two siblings: Mildred (Albert) Matika of Perryville and Janet Ramsey of Rosebud; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son: Martin Dierks; two brothers: Raymond Dierks and Vernon Hilderbrand; and a sister: Eunice Rohlfing.
A memorial service was held March 27 at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto. Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum in De Soto. Arrangements were under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
