Clifford Brandt, 77, of Hillsboro died April 30, 2017. Mr. Brandt was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in House Springs, where he served as an usher and sang in the funeral choir. He was a fourth-degree Knight of Columbus and a leader with the St. Vincent de Paul Society, where he spent time working to find funds to help those in need. Born Dec. 2, 1939, in Frankenstein in Osage County, he was the son of the late Francis and Marie (Kremer) Brandt.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years: Mary Anne (Deuser) Brandt; two children: Rose (Jeff) Withrow and Rich (Annie) Brandt; four grandchildren: Richie, Heather, Brendan and Adam; two brothers: Donnie (Linda) Brandt and James (Sharon) Brandt; and a number of nieces, nephews, godchildren, friends and other relatives.
He is preceded in death by two brothers: Leo Brandt and Ed Brandt; and a sister-in-law: Mary Brandt.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Friday, May 5, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Visitation is at 9 a.m. and a funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 6, at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 4696 Notre Dame Lane, in House Springs. Burial is in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, 15 Forest Knoll, Fenton, 63026; or to Our Lady Queen of Peace, 4696 Notre Dame Lane, House Springs, 63051. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
