Cletus Pippin Sr., 48, Festus

Cletus Pippin Sr., 48, of Festus died Dec. 9, 2015, at Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur. Mr. Pippin was a co-owner and operator of Pippin Towing and Truck Service in Festus.

Born June 6, 1967, in Festus, he was the son of Larry Pippin Sr. of Festus and the late Linda LaVerne (Smith) Pippin.

He also is survived by his wife: Tonya (Hyde) Pippin; two daughters: Rachel (Rich) Fisher of Festus and Heather Pippin of House Springs; a son: Cletus (Stacey) Pippin Jr. of Festus; five sisters: Star (Darrell) Daugherty of Festus, Lucinda Pippin of Horine, Holly (Dan) Pippin-Brown of De Soto, Corenia (Dave) Graves of Bloomsdale and Dawn Pippin of French Village; two brothers: Larry (Sue) Pippin Jr. of Festus and Dusty Pippin of French Village: six grandchildren: Richie Fisher III, Cletus Pippin III, Dakota Pippin, Shaylyn Pippin, Alexis Adler and Jordan Glass Jr.; a grandmother: Hazel Smith; 24 nieces and nephews; and a former wife and close friend: Brenda Pippin.

He was preceded in death by grandparents Cletus and Mildred Pippin.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 West Main St., in Festus. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec, 12, at the funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Arnold Mangus of United Pentecostal Church of Festus. Burial will be in the Pippin Family Cemetery in Festus.
