Cletus “Clete” Stephens, 73, of Arnold died May 6, 2019, in St. Louis. Mr. Stephens was a handyman. He enjoyed photography, the outdoors, country music, his dogs, Dahlia and Mitsy, and spending time with his family. Born July 2, 1945, in Weaubleau, he was the son of the late LaVerne (Tipton) and William Stephens.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years: Juanita (Brown) Stephens; four children: Paul (Christia) Grimes, Amanda (Kevin) Boyer, Stacy (Scott) Castro and Cory (Stephens) Donigan; two brothers: Bill (Chris) Stephens of Nebraska and Rodney (Arden) Stephens of Columbia; eight grandchildren: Loran (Nicholas) Blase, Niko, Micah and Jaxon Grimes, Ben and Morgan Boyer and Tyler and Ella Castro; two great-grandsons: Noah and Dane Blase; and two cousins: Gary (Bonnie) and Ronnie Hunt.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
