Quick, Clara

Clara “Jean” Quick, 81, of High Ridge died Nov. 26, 2017.  Mrs. Quick loved spending time with her grandchildren and going shopping. Born Jan. 14, 1936, in Birmingham, Ala., she was the daughter of the late Henry and Wordie “Louise” (Butler) Lindley. She was preceded in death by her husband: Charles E. Quick Sr.

She is survived by three children: Charles E. (Cheryl) Quick Jr. of Robertsville, Brian (Beth) Quick of Catawissa and Sharon Quick-Mayberry of Bismarck; 11 grandchildren: Bianca Kuhnert, Christopher Quick, Joshua Thele, Whitney Quick, Emily Quick, Malachi Benton, Amber Benton, CharlieAnn Quick, Jared Quick, Dennis Mayberry Jr. and Misty Lynn Mayberry; five great-grandchildren: Cecilia Quick, Levi Lincoln, Carter Lincoln, Jeremiah Mayberry and James Mayberry; four siblings: Tommie Adams, Cynthia Bequette, Royce Lindley and Althea Lindley; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a daughter: Cheryl Nan Burnham; a grandson: Charles E. Quick III; two brothers: Don Lindley and Billie Lindley; and a son-in-law: Dennis Mayberry.

A funeral service was held Nov. 30 at Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill. Burial was in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 9370 Olive Blvd., St. Louis, 63132-3253. Arrangements were under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
