Christopher “Catfish” Kalna, 46, of House Springs died Nov. 2, 2021, at his home. Mr. Kalna loved the outdoors. He enjoyed bass fishing and hunting, particularly turkey and deer. He enjoyed spending time with his family in the woods and at the lake. He also enjoyed football. Born March 28, 1975, in St. Louis, he was the son of Tony (Anton) Kalna Sr. and the late Phyllis Kay Kalna.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife: Brittany (Gould) Kalna; a brother: Tony (Lori) Kalna Jr.; a nephew: Tony Kalna III; his parents-in-law: John and Linda Gould; a brother-in-law: Davis Gould; many other family and friends; and his pets: Dallas and Tyson.
He was preceded in death by two pets: Patches and Willie.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Kids Need A Place To Start (KNAPS). Arrangements were under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
