Christopher Byrne Monks, 73, of Eureka died June 1, 2018, in Eureka. Mr. Monks worked in telecommunications. Born March 27, 1945, in Brookline, Mass., he was the son of the late Christine Ferguson and Arthur Monks.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years: Anne Gaddy.
He is survived in death by his stepmother: Sheila Monks of Milton, Mass.; two children: Elizabeth (Matt) Williamson of St. Louis and Daniel (Lauren) Monks of Eureka; a sister: Vicky Monks of Denver; a brother: Flynn (Jennifer) Monks of Arlington, Mass.; and two grandchildren: Brayden and Addison Monks, both of Eureka.
A celebration of life will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, at JP’s Sports Bar & Grill, 95 Hilltop Village Center Drive, Eureka.
